Job Overview

We’re looking for an experienced lead hand or carpenters who know their way around framing, finish carpentry, concrete, and general construction.

You’ll be running jobs, keeping the crew on track, reading blueprints, and making sure the work is done right. While ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Duties

- Lead the crew on site and keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Coordinate and help with framing, concrete, finish carpentry, siding, flooring, tile, cabinetry, roofing, and other renovation work as needed.
- Safely use and train others on hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Make sure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and our quality expectations.
- Help with material takeoffs, ordering, and keeping track of tools and job site inventory.
- Jump in wherever needed, whether that’s framing, finishing, heavy lifting, woodworking, basic electrical or plumbing, or general construction tasks.
- Keep project managers and clients updated on progress and communicate any issues before they become problems.
- Train and mentor apprentices and newer team members, helping them build their skills and confidence.

Skills

- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, concrete, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, or related fields.




- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in concrete forming, rebar installation, framing, cabinetry installation, restoration work, and general construction painting.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.
- Ability to read construction estimating documents and manage project timelines effectively.
- Experience with plumbing systems and electrical wiring is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various outdoor or indoor environments.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
