Position: Concrete Form Setter/Carpenter – Heavy Civil / Bridge Construction

Overview: Beton is a heavy civil contractor headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario, specializing in bridge rehabilitation and structural civil work across Southern Ontario. We are seeking an experienced Concrete Form Setter / Carpenter with robust field experience and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

· Perform layout, assembly, and installation of concrete formwork

· Carry out concrete removals, formwork, rebar, and structural work

· Read and interpret project drawings and assist with layout as required

· Work under the direction of the foreman to maintain productivity and schedule

· Maintain site safety, quality, and organization

· Perform other construction-related tasks as directed when not engaged in form setting

Requirements:

· Strong experience in heavy civil, structural, or concrete construction

· Experience with formwork, structural carpentry, and general construction practices

· Ability to read and interpret project drawings, shop drawings, and blueprints

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines





· Able to work independently with little to no supervision

· Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites

Work Conditions:

· Projects across Southern Ontario

· Long hours, overtime, and weekend work as required

· Outdoor work in all weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.91-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
