You will work directly with the founders, own core architecture, ship product, learn from customers and shape the engineering culture. Tech stack

Our product pairs a web-based TypeScript front-end with a headless desktop agent that runs locally in the customer's environment and a pipeline of several proprietary models. Python and TypeScript are our primary languages. Our core IP is a multimodal data-processing layer that turns engineering information into knowledge graphs, with graph neural networks layered on top for learning and inference. Agents orchestrate models and tools across local and cloud environments.

What you'll own

Architect and ship agents that plan, call tools, retrieve evidence, maintain state, involve humans and fail safely.

Own multimodal pipelines that transform drawings, BIM, documents, spreadsheets and project history into reliable structured data.

Advance our knowledge-graph and graph-learning systems for retrieval, reasoning, recommendations and automation.

Refine evaluation, observability, guardrails and feedback loops so quality,



latency and cost are optimized.

- Work with customers to turn ambiguous workflows into simple products.

What you bring

Strong Python and TypeScript skills at a Senior level , with sound judgment across back end, data and product engineering.

Hands-on experience building production AI systems across agent orchestration and tool calling, multimodal RAG and embeddings, knowledge graphs and GNNs, model training and fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA, computer vision pipelines using VLMs, YOLO and OCR, and scalable back end infrastructure using Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, FastAPI, Docker and AWS.

You use AI coding, research and automation tools fluently to increase your own speed and quality.

Evidence of initiative through an independent project, open-source contribution, research build or startup you drove from idea to working system.

Clear communication skills are a MUST. AEC experience is nice to have but not required.

This role will be primarily remote, but some in office client meetings in Kitchener-Waterloo will be required.

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
