We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT team in Langley, BC.
Reporting to the Senior System Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and successful delivery of complex, integrated enterprise solutions through comprehensive testing, quality assurance practices, and release readiness assessments.
In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and external vendors, to promote quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle. You will contribute to solution validation by assessing requirements, identifying potential risks, and ensuring applications meet business and technical expectations. The position involves overseeing testing initiatives, leveraging both manual and automated approaches, supporting quality governance processes, validating system and data integrity, and providing insights that help drive successful and reliable releases.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, plans, test cases, test data, and completion reports for enterprise solutions.
- Creating, maintaining, and managing manual and automated test suites using TestRail and other testing frameworks.
- Reviewing and validating business requirements, acceptance criteria, solution designs, and technical documentation to identify risks and ensure testability.
- Planning and performing functional, integration, system, end-to-end, regression, API, data-validation, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests, reusable automation components, and supporting documentation.
- Identifying and implementing high-value automation opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
- Validating business processes, workflows, interfaces, integrations, data feeds, and data quality through SQL and other testing techniques.
- Testing and verifying ETL, data migration, API, batch processing, and system integration solutions.
- Managing and leading defect investigation, triage, prioritization, retesting, resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Reporting, coordinating, and mentoring by providing test status updates, release readiness assessments, quality recommendations, and guidance to QA team members.
You have:
- A Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of progressive QA experience, including senior, lead, or technical QA responsibilities.
- Experience developing and executing Test strategies, test plans and test cases, and quality assurance deliverables.
- Strong experience testing complex enterprise applications, integrated systems, and end-to-end business processes.
- Hands-on experience with test automation, including developing, maintaining, and optimizing automated test suites.
- Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, or equivalent solutions.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
- Experience with TestRail, Jira, Confluence, or similar test management and collaboration platforms.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including functional, integration, system, regression, API, exploratory, automated, and UAT testing.
- Strong SQL and data validation skills, with experience testing APIs, databases, integrations, data feeds, and batch processes.

Compensation Details:
$96,443.00 - $120,554.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
