Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours a week)
Wage: CAD$70,000-$100,000 (depending on experience and performance)
Benefits: Two-week vacation with pay (4%) annually during the first four years of service and three weeks (6%) after five years of consecutive service and company’s extended benefit package (after completion of 60 days of employment).

Greater Vancouver Powersports (GVP), the only Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) dealer in the lower mainland with locations in Langley and Chilliwack, B.C., is committed to providing best in class sales and service to our customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and your expert knowledge.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades to enhance performance and safety.
- Install, test, and repair components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, exhaust systems, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labour time for billing and warranty purposes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and BRP guidelines through continuous training and professional development opportunities.
QUALIFICATION
- BRP Training would be an asset.
- Solid experience as a powersports mechanic or a similar position, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of powersports vehicles.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, computerized systems, and service manuals to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Excellent knowledge of powersports vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel systems, and drivetrains.
- Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members in a professional and friendly manner.
