Rocanda is actively seeking Plant Operators to help manufacture non-hazardous chemicals for the oilfield and also move product between buildings as required. This position will be for our Night shift, from 9:00 pm - 5:30 am, Sunday - Thursday Night
Responsibilities include:
- Weighing and staging raw materials
- Blending products such as clay stabilizers, scale inhibitors and friction reducers
- Forklift operation
- Transferring product between shops
- Cleaning Chemical totes as needed at the tote facility
- Warehouse maintenance as required
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 - 75 lbs
- Must have a valid Class 5 license with clean abstract
-Experience working with different types of pumps (gear, PC, air diaphragm, triplex, etc.) is a definite asset
- Prior forklift certification/operation is an asset
Rocanda Enterprises Ltd. develops, manufactures, and distributes downhole oilfield chemicals. The company has been active in the oilfield industry since 1987, though it has grown exponentially over the past three years, now having 4 shops in Leduc alone.
