Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
- Handle cash and perform cash handling duties accurately, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.




- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and enhance their experience.

Experience

- Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with cash handling and cashiering practices is beneficial.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 44 per week
