Job Overview

Reporting to the Maintenance Services Coordinator, you play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment for all users. You perform a variety of maintenance, snow removal, and material-handling tasks in support of the technical teams and the IRCM’s daily operations.

Responsibilities

- Clean and clear snow from entrances, sidewalks, and access points to ensure the safety of users.
- Perform preventive maintenance and periodic inspections of facilities.
- Carry out small- and medium-scale repairs involving drywall, plaster, and paint.
- Install, repair, adjust, or replace various equipment, furniture, and accessories.
- Perform simple drain unclogging (sinks, washbasins, showers, and toilets).
- Assist with receiving, handling, and moving goods, or substitute for the staff responsible as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and good condition of the IRCM’s buildings and outdoor areas.
- Perform any other related tasks associated with the role.





What You Bring to the Table

Essential Requirements

- High school diploma.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar position, particularly in building maintenance, carpentry, painting, or interior renovation.
- Good stamina and physical fitness; ability to perform a variety of manual tasks.

Desired Skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in French.

Key Information

- Schedule: Full time (38.75 hours per week)
- Position type: Regular
- Salary: Starting at $24.77 per hour
