Responsibilities:

As a vital member of our team, the Archery Sales Specialist will collaborate with the Sales Manager to accomplish sales objectives and undertake key responsibilities within the retail environment. Specific duties include:

- Assisting the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets by providing an exceptional customer service experience.
- Advising customers on selecting the right bow (recurve, compound, longbow, etc.) based on their experience level, intended use (hunting, target shooting, or recreational archery), and budget.
- Assisting customers with basic bow fitting, including draw length and draw weight recommendations.
- Recommending and explaining archery accessories such as arrows, sights, releases, stabilizers, and protective gear.
- Providing basic guidance on bow maintenance and care (e.g., string waxing, general upkeep).
- Organizing, displaying, and stocking retail merchandise to ensure a well-maintained product presentation.
- Warmly welcoming and engaging customers, delivering friendly and professional service.
- Addressing customer inquiries, providing detailed product information,



and assisting customers in finding the products they seek.
- Collaborating with fellow team members across departments to maintain cohesive operations and ensure overall store efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of sales and retail industry practices.
- Prior experience working in archery or outdoor sporting goods retail is an asset.
- Personal archery experience and familiarity with popular bow brands/models is an asset.
- Hunting experience is an asset.
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work workplace.
- Collaborative mindset, demonstrating effective teamwork with colleagues and other departments.
- Flexibility in adapting to work schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
