Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and certified Red Seal Automotive Mechanic to join our team as Shop foreman . The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves performing complex repairs, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using advanced tools and diagnostic equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Conduct welding and assembly tasks as needed for vehicle repairs or modifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work setting




- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and service recommendations
- Assist in the training of apprentices or junior technicians when required

Experience

- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a valid Red Seal certification
- Dealership experience is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models
- Proficiency with schematics, diagnostic software, and automotive repair manuals
- Hands-on experience with welding, assembly, and the use of power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Prior experience working with maintenance procedure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.82-$40.00 per hour
