Job Summary
We are looking for Croatian-speaking PSW for a client, daily, in the Etobicoke area. You must speak Croatian before applying for this job.



The Personal Support Worker/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Director of Care and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities

- AM and PM care
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Light Housekeeping
- Ability to follow a care plan
- Documentation/Charting

Qualifications

- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (eg. foreign-trained nurse, nursing student after one year of completing the school).
- Current CPR/First Aid training
- Must speak Croatian/Macedonian
- Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen or be willing to obtain one.
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Access to the internet/mobile phone.
- Great support and teamwork
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience preferred
