Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Truss Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process by efficiently building & assembling roof trusses for shipment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

- Build & assemble trusses in designated areas for easy access and shipment.
- Ensure that trusses are handled safely to prevent damage during the piling process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Skills

- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 pounds).
- Strong proficiency in forklift operation (counterbalance).
- Attention to detail to ensure proper assembly of trusses.
- Ability to read blueprints & schematics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting facing elements while maintaining quality standards.




- Basic understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
- Access to reliable vehicle as work location has limited public transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Experience:

- truss building: 1 year (preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
