Job Summary

The Admission Council is looking for an experienced and confident Admission Counsellor to speak with prospective students and clients, explain available programs and services, follow up on leads, and support the admissions process.

This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate should have experience in admissions, education consulting, student recruitment, sales, or a related client-facing role.

Responsibilities

Speak with prospective students and clients by phone, email, WhatsApp, social media, and in person.

Understand client needs and recommend suitable courses or services.

Explain program details, admission requirements, documents, fees, and application processes.

Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into enrolled students or clients.

Maintain accurate records of client communication and application progress.

Work closely with the admissions, documentation, operations, and marketing teams.

Support marketing campaigns, events, seminars,



and promotional activities.

Stay updated on educational programs, study permit processes, visa requirements, and immigration services.

Refer regulated immigration matters to an authorized RCIC.

Meet individual and team admission and conversion targets.

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Strong communication, sales, persuasion, and follow-up skills.

Knowledge of Canadian colleges, admissions, study permits, and immigration services.

Ability to manage multiple clients and work effectively with a team.

Comfortable using CRM systems, email, phone, WhatsApp, and social media.

Multilingual abilities are considered an asset.

Work Location: In person, Toronto and Mississauga, Ontario

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
