Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a solid commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various types of freight. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to various locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo details.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies regarding safety and operational procedures.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle,



including automotive repairs as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Experience handling freight and understanding logistics processes.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair to address minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus for efficient loading and unloading of cargo.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
