Modern Mutts Inc. is looking to add a reliable, empathetic Groomer's Assistant/Shop Hand to our team! No experience necessary - we will train the right candidate! We hold a very high standard here at MMI and have deeply embedded core values. We offer stress-free grooming for our canine clients and do not tolerate any roughness, impatience or uncaring behaviour.

Modern Mutts Inc was created with our own pets in mind. We wanted to create a space where WE, as pet owners and lovers, would feel comfortable leaving our own fur-babies. The role of a groomer's assistant/shop hand would involve the following duties:

- Bathing/drying dogs
- Light grooming such as brushing dogs
- Providing support to the dogs who require extra TLC
- Cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning
- Admin duties
- Occasionally run errands

Our ideal candidate:

- Can lift up to 40lb
-Is comfortable around all breeds of dogs

We work Monday-Friday and every 6th Saturday. You may be asked to work as early as 730am or as late as 630PM.

The position will start out as part-time.

**We require someone with a flexible schedule. Daytime availability is a MUST. We are not looking to hire highschool students at this time.***
