Position Overview

Santa Lucia Pizza is currently looking for experienced Front of House Team Members who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This is a versatile role where you may assist with answering phones, greeting and seating guests, serving food and beverages, bartending, processing takeout orders, and ensuring every customer receives outstanding service. Every day is different, making this the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a busy restaurant.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Answer incoming phone calls and accurately process takeout, delivery, and reservation requests.
- Host and seat guests efficiently while managing wait lists during busy periods.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages while providing attentive and professional customer service.




- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company standards (where applicable).
- Process guest payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions.
- Assist guests with menu recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages.
- Ensure dining areas, host stations, bar areas, and service stations remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.
- Maintain all food safety, liquor service, and health regulations.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a server, host, bartender, or restaurant customer service representative is required.
- Serving It Safe certification is considered a strong asset (or willingness to obtain one).
- Bartending experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Experience using a POS system is an asset.
