Pipeline Heavy Equipment Operators (Final Grade Excavator, Skid-Steer, Wheel Loader)

The Role

We are hiring experienced pipeline heavy equipment operators for the current construction season. We are looking for hands that can run one or more of the following, to a finished product, with minimal supervision:

- Excavator, final grade experience is required
- Skid-steer
- Wheel loader

What You Will Be Doing

- Final grading and contouring of pipeline right of ways to reclamation standards
- Trenching, backfilling, padding and sloping on live and new pipeline ROW
- Loading, unloading and moving material around active work sites
- Working alongside labourers, spotters and other equipment in congested areas
- Daily equipment inspections, greasing and basic maintenance
- Completing hazard assessments, FLHAs and other required safety paperwork

Must Haves, Everyone Must Be Ticketed





- Valid safety tickets are mandatory, you will be asked for copies before your first shift:
- H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada)
- Standard First Aid with CPR
- Ground Disturbance Level II
- CSTS 2020 or Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Proven pipeline or oilfield construction experience on the machines listed above
- Final grade experience on excavator for excavator applicants
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to the shop or site
- Able to work out of town on a rotational schedule, LOA provided
- Able to work long hours outside in all weather conditions
- Solid commitment to safety, our goal is that all personnel return safely home
