Howitt Construction Ltd is looking for experienced local Class 1 drivers with tri-drive experience for a road construction project west of Sylvan Lake on Hwy 11. Daily function is to haul clay from a borrow pit to the fill area within the job site. All the work will be contained within this job site location - no long hauling.

The successful candidate shall have experience navigating soft ground or may have experience hauling out fields; hauling grain etc.

Position Requirements:

- 18 spd manual transmission,
- Tri-drive experience,
- complete walk arounds and daily paperwork,
- be moderately mechanically inclined,
- provide clean five year commercial driver's abstract.

Work Details

- 7am - 6pm,
- 4 day long weekends off,
- Start Aug 4, 2026.
- Duration of project - 2-3 months
