Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for clients with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, senior care, or nursing home environments, and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those they serve. This role involves assisting with daily activities, medication management, meal preparation, and ensuring a protected and comfortable environment. The Private Caregiver plays a vital role in supporting clients’ independence and well-being within their homes.

Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate patient care tailored to individual needs, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all care activities.
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional requirements are met and dietary restrictions are followed.
- Support clients with activities of daily living such as cleaning, light housekeeping, and laundry to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in health status or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary,



to ensure safety during movement.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to protect clients’ health.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and caregiving best practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility as needed.
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature.
- Certification in medication administration or caregiving is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation assistance if required by the role.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
