Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
- Supervise team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Manage cash handling procedures using POS systems such as TouchBistro accurately and responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality and freshness.
- Handle cashiering duties including processing transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista (minimum 4 years) with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in the food industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for productive transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and health regulations.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
