Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Loss Prevention Investigator to protect company assets, ensure safety, and prevent theft or misconduct within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement or security, with expertise in surveillance and CCTV operations. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining a secure shopping experience for customers and staff alike.

Duties

- Monitor store premises using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity.
- Conduct regular patrols of the store to identify potential security risks or theft.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to investigate incidents.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security breaches or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security activities.
- Implement loss prevention strategies and educate staff on security protocols.
- Assist in training new team members on surveillance procedures and loss prevention techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and legal regulations related to security operations.

Skills

- Proven experience in law enforcement, security, or loss prevention roles.
- Solid knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and monitoring techniques.




- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining vigilance.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required)
- Previous loss prevention or security experience (preferred)
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly

- Must have open availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

- Full-time and part-time shifts available
