Licensed Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Casual/On-Call

MediM8 Senior Support is seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Licensed Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our growing team on a casual, on-call basis.

We provide personalized in-home support to seniors and adults in the Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Companionship and emotional support
- Escort clients to medical appointments (where applicable)
- Maintain accurate visit documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the MediM8 care team

Qualifications

- Personal Support Worker Certificate from an accredited Ontario program
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable,



and client-focused
- Previous home care or long-term care experience is an asset
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle are considered an asset but not required
