Security Dispatch Supervisor

Location: Vancouver, BC
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and professional Security Dispatch Supervisor to join our operations team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will oversee daily dispatch activities, coordinate security personnel, monitor incidents, and ensure smooth communication between clients, security officers, and management.

This position is ideal for an experienced security professional with solid leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily security dispatch operations.
- Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and incident reports.
- Schedule, assign, and track security personnel across multiple sites.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports.
- Ensure all shifts are properly staffed and operational requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients, security officers, emergency services, and management.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and operational issues.
- Support, train, and mentor dispatch staff and security personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, and industry regulations.
- Assist management with performance monitoring and operational improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of security industry experience (required).
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence (required).
- Previous dispatch, supervisory, or leadership experience is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.




- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.

Additional Requirements

- Must be flexible and prepared to work long shifts (8-12 hours) when operational needs require.
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Open availability is required, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
