The Oakville Jr. Hornets are looking for an enthusiastic and driven candidate to fill the role of Livestream Manager for the 2026-2027 season! Our ideal candidate has a passion for hockey and has an interest in gaining quality experience running a live production for a local women's hockey team. About the Oakville Jr. Hornets

As a premier member of the OWHL U22Elite, the Jr. Hornets are part of the highest level of Jr. Women’s hockey in Ontario. We pride ourselves on producing the best players on and off the ice, who are recruited by the best hockey schools in North America. We also work hard to provide opportunities for multi-media producers to get a start in the industry by contributing to the top livestream and media production team in the league.

Role Structure

Reporting to the Director of Communications and working closely with the Senior Media Manager, the Livestream Manager will be responsible for the setup, operation, and execution of the Oakville Jr. Hornets Game Day Livestream for all home and post-season games during the 2026/2027 season. Duties will include moving & setting up livestream equipment, oversight of 2 Camera Operators, launching and managing the production of the livestream, directing the show, and shutting down post-game. Knowledge of OBS systems and YouTube, as well as using a switcher is all considered an asset.

Pay: $20 per hour

Length: September 1 – Mid-April

Hours: 24 Home Games + Playoffs. Saturdays & Sundays, occasional weeknight

Responsibilities

- Set up and take down livestream equipment

- Oversee OBS System, update with assets for each game as needed

- Run game clock,



track goals, shots, and penalties

- Operate switcher to transition between cameras, media, and assets

- Manage Camera Operators, coordinate with Senior Media Manager for game assets

Qualifications

- Strong Communications skills, able to talk through the run-of-show for Camera Operators and Senior Media Manager

- Previous experience as a switcher is an asset

- Knowledge of OBS and Youtube is an asset

- Experience with camera equipment

- Demonstrated hockey knowledge, familiarity with U22Elite OWHL is an asset

- Located near Oakville, Ontario

- Available for all home games (Usually Saturday Evenings and Sunday Afternoons)
