The designer's primary functions are cabinetry design, floor plans & layouts, coordinating cabinet selections, and hardware. Provide exceptional customer service, discuss with the customer their needs, wants and design ideas, including assisting them with selecting suitable products. Create preliminary designs, layouts and floor plans using Planit Cabinet Vision design software. Provide pricing information to customers. Perform all onsite field measurements. Complete and submit all necessary paperwork, for the submission of the work order. Provide constructive feedback and ideas to management. Continuous improvement in product knowledge, and design trends and order accuracy
Qualifications:
Proven track record of cabinet design, strong working knowledge of Planit cabinet vision design software is an asset. Strong knowledge/ experience in cabinetry and design. Meticulous attention to detail,
cutting-edge thinking and problem solving skills. Strong organizational and oral/written communications skills. Time Management skills are vital. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also effectively as part of a team. Understanding of current materials and hardware, good eye for colour. Excellent presentation skills Valid driver's license with access to vehicle
