Proposal Writer & Business Development Consultant (Commission-Based)

About Us

Prostruct Contracting provides civil engineering drafting, CAD production, quantity takeoffs, and support services to consulting engineering firms, contractors, municipalities, and developers across Canada.

We are looking for an experienced Proposal Writer & Business Development Consultant to help us identify new opportunities, prepare winning proposals, and grow our client base.

Responsibilities

- Search for RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and other project opportunities.
- Prepare and coordinate high-quality proposal submissions.
- Review bid requirements and ensure complete, compliant submissions.
- Build relationships with engineering firms, contractors, municipalities, and other potential clients.
- Leverage your professional network to introduce current business opportunities.
- Follow up with prospective clients and support business development efforts.
- Work closely with our team to develop competitive proposals.

Qualifications

- Experience preparing proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and tender submissions.
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Familiarity with engineering, construction, infrastructure,



or consulting services is an asset.
- Existing industry connections are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities.

Retired or semi-retired professionals are encouraged to apply. Compensation

This is an independent contractor, commission-based opportunity.

- Earn 20%–30% of the net profit on projects that you originate and help secure.
- The commission percentage will depend on your level of involvement and contribution.
