Reputable commercial and industrial metal coating company located in pointe claire. Looking female for book keeping.experience not required in accounting. we will teach you. $ 18 an hour

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry and transaction recording
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or accurate financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Perform account reconciliations for bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements
- Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements





- Proven experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or finance roles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
- Robust understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of account reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting processes
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and management
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $18.00 per hour
