Role: Part-Time or Full-Time Registered Massage Therapist

Locations: Burlington, ON

Role Overview:

The WOMB, a leading wellness center specializing in fertility, pregnancy, paediatrics, and family care, is seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will not only align with our core values but will also possess a genuine dedication to providing exceptional care to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

- Provide professional massage therapy services to clients with a focus on fertility, pregnancy, paediatrics, and family wellness.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific requirements and health goals.
- Deliver compassionate and client-centered care,



maintaining a supportive and empathetic approach throughout each session.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to ensure we are providing the best care for our clients.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and lifestyle modifications to enhance the effectiveness of massage therapy and promote overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records
- Abide by all regulations, per the RMTAO and CMTO bodies and insurance companies
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development activities
- Contribute to the positive and collaborative work workplace at The WOMB by actively engaging in team meetings, training, and other organizational initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Must be registered and within good standing with the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario (RMTAO)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to massage therapy, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- A positive, professional and flexible attitude
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Ideally trained or planning to train with Trimesters Massage Therapy Education and experience in infant massage
