Carpenter – Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a passion for recent construction and restoring structures. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, installing a range of rough and finish carpentry assemblies and executing projects with precision. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install structures primarily made from wood, including doors, trim, siding and other related finishes.
- Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
- Install various types of siding and other exterior finishes to enhance building aesthetics and functionality.
- Conduct construction estimating to assess material needs accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with our safety policies and the building code regulations.




- Collaborate with Foreman/Site Supervisor and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Experience/ Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Excellent understanding of Industry standard timelines and scheduling.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Familiarity with maintenance related repairs and trouble shooting.
- Strong skills in fabrication and siding application.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to lead and motivate others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
