The Cozy Café + Bar is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team. We are a busy breakfast and brunch restaurant known for serving fresh, high-quality food in a fast-paced and professional environment.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch menu items to the highest standards.
- Manage your station efficiently during high-volume service.
- Ensure every dish is prepared consistently and presented professionally.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
- Rotate and store food using FIFO procedures.
- Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
- Assist with daily prep and closing duties.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience.
- Experience in breakfast and brunch service is a robust asset.
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, organized, and passionate about quality food.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Early morning and daytime shifts.
- Weekend availability is mandatory.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
