The Action Group is a non-profit organization that provides a range of services to adults and children with developmental disabilities in Central Alberta. The Enhanced Housing Program provides 24/7 residential support to 16 individuals with complex service needs who have a range of cognitive, behavioral and mental health support requirements and will provide a comprehensive range of therapy and support in a specialized setting in the town of Ponoka, Alberta.
Our Enhanced Housing Program requires a temporary domestic services worker to provide cooking & cleaning services. Responsible for developing & preparing weekly menu plans meeting the nutritional requirements of the Canada Food Guide, shop for grocery items & prepare all meals. Good organizational, time management, boundaries,
communication and conflict management skills. Shift is 8am-6pm, 3 on 4 off.
What we can offer:
- $27.00 starting wage
- 3 on 4 off rotation
- RRSP after 2 years for qualifying positions
