About the Opportunity
Banyan Gold Corp. is seeking an Elder Advisor(s) from the First Nation of Na-cho Nyäk Dun
to support respectful engagement and cultural guidance related to exploration and project
development activities within Traditional Territory. Banyan is actively exploring its AurMac
project located 40km north of Mayo.
What the Elder Advisor Will Do
- Provide cultural guidance and advice to Banyan staff and contractors
- Support respectful communication and relationship building between Banyan and the
community
- Share land-based knowledge and seasonal considerations (as appropriate and agreed)
- Participate in meetings and occasional site visits (optional)
- Support cultural awareness learning for project staff
Who We are Looking For
- Must be a Citizen of the First Nation of Na-cho Nyäk Dun
- Must be a respected Elder and knowledge holder in the community
- Interested in supporting land stewardship and respectful engagement
- Able to communicate clearly and respectfully
- Willing to work with Banyan and FNNND in a qualified and confidential manner
Work Schedule and Compensation
This position is expected to be part-time and flexible. Work may include meetings, advisory
sessions, and optional site visits. Compensation will be based on a part-time role.

helps strengthen trust, transparency, and meaningful relationships between Banyan Gold
and the FNNND community.
