Summit Property Group - Simcoe Muskoka is hiring an experienced Loader/Tractor Snow Plow Operator for the upcoming winter season. This is an on-call position — shifts are driven by weather and snowfall events, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight calls. We're looking for someone reliable who can respond quickly when the snow starts falling and get the job done safely and efficiently.

Duties

- Operate a loader and/or tractor with snow plow/blower attachments to clear snow from parking lots, laneways, and access areas
- Apply salt/de-icing material to cleared surfaces as needed
- Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Follow site-specific service plans and property maps
- Communicate with dispatch/supervisor regarding site completion, delays, or issues
- Operate equipment safely around parked vehicles, pedestrians, and building structures
- Respond promptly to on-call/weather-triggered dispatch, including nights and weekends

Experience





- Previous experience operating a loader and/or tractor, ideally in a snow removal or construction setting
- Valid Ontario driver's license in good standing
- Comfortable working outdoors in winter conditions, often on short notice
- Robust attention to detail and safety-focused mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and able to respond quickly when called
- Own reliable transportation to reach job sites or yard

Schedule

- On-call, seasonal (winter months)
- Hours vary based on snowfall/weather events — includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight availability
