Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a fast-paced food service environment, utilizing your knowledge of food handling, POS systems, and customer service. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in the hospitality field.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Skills

- Solid customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling menu items
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food industry standards, including serving etiquette, hospitality principles, and guest services skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic setting
