Job Posting: Part-Time Piano Teachers (Specialist)
London Conservatory of Contemporary Music (LCCM)

The London Conservatory of Contemporary Music (LCCM), located at 725 Notre Dame Dr, London, Ontario (N6J 3V5), is seeking passionate and dedicated part-time Piano Teachers with a specialty in performance piano to join our team.

LCCM is a premier music school committed to providing high-quality contemporary music education to students of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities

- Teach private and group lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
- Create engaging lesson plans tailored to each student’s goals and interests.
- Provide constructive feedback and explicit guidance to support student progress.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and exams when applicable.
- Follow the school’s curriculum framework while incorporating your own teaching style to best meet student needs.
- Maintain positive communication with students and parents, including regular progress updates.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to foster a supportive and inspiring learning environment.

Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.




- Proficiency in teaching higher-level performance Piano (preferably RSL Grade 8, RCM Grade 9, or equivalent)
- Multi-instrument teaching ability is an asset (Guitar, Vocal, Bass, Drum Set).
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
- Availability during weekday evenings (4:00–9:00 PM) and/or Saturdays (10:00–4:00 PM). Specific days and times are TBD based on availability.
