Ontario Line Clearing & Tree Experts Inc. is a proudly Canadian, family-owned company that has been providing vegetation management services across Ontario since 1988.

Reporting to the Shop Manager, you’ll help maintain a modern fleet of specialized equipment that keeps our crews operating safely and efficiently throughout the province.

- Bucket Trucks

- Chip Trucks

- Cranes

- Hiabs

- Pickup Trucks

- Wood Chippers

- Stump Grinders

- Trailers

- Commercial fleet vehicles and specialized forestry equipment

Every day brings something different!

Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment

- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues

- Complete Annual Safety Inspections





- Complete inspection reports and maintenance documentation using tablets

- Perform Annual Safety Inspections through Ontario’s DriveON digital inspection platform

- Maintain compliance with CVOR and Ministry of Transportation (MTO) requirements

- Maintain a clean, organized and safe shop

- Work closely with the Shop Manager to keep fleet downtime to a minimum

Qualifications

Required

- Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician

- Valid G Class Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract

- Previous experience maintaining commercial vehicles or heavy equipment

- Comfortable using tablets and digital inspection software

- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Assets

- Hydraulic repair experience

- DZ or AZ Licence

- Knowledge of CVOR, DriveON, Annual Safety Inspections and MTO regulations
