We are seeking a highly motivated Program Evaluator specializing in Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) to join our educational team. This role involves assessing and enhancing nursing education programs through comprehensive content development, instructional design, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and expertise in LMS platforms such as Blackboard and Adobe Captivate. The Program Evaluator will contribute to the development of engaging training materials, facilitate effective learning experiences, and support continuous improvement of nursing education initiatives.

Credential Requirement:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) is preferred. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with significant nursing education experience may also be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) years of recent occupational experience in nursing practice relevant to Licensed Practical Nursing education.
- Demonstrated expertise in nursing education, curriculum review, or program evaluation.
Special Credential Needed (Certification or License)
- Current and unrestricted registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Additional certifications in nursing education, clinical instruction, simulation education, or healthcare quality improvement are considered an asset.

Specific Qualifications Needed
- Educational Background
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent is required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, Health Sciences, Education, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Formal education in curriculum development, instructional design, or adult education is considered an asset.
Qualified Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of nursing practice, preferably in acute care, community care, long-term care, or primary care settings.
- Experience teaching in a Practical Nursing or nursing education program.
- Experience reviewing, developing, or evaluating nursing curriculum.
- Knowledge of competency-based education and clinical education standards.
- Experience participating in accreditation, regulatory reviews, or quality assurance activities is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Thorough knowledge of Practical Nursing scope of practice and entry-to-practice competencies.
- Strong understanding of BCCNM standards and nursing education best practices.
- Ability to evaluate curriculum alignment with industry and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide objective, evidence-based recommendations for program improvement.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain independence and avoid conflicts of interest during the evaluation process.
Payment:
- CAD 350-400 per project
