Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked safely and maintained at proper temperatures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
- Follow food handling and safety procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders




- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients
- Assist with plating dishes attractively for service
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods or special events

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, preferably in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
- Prior experience with serving or food industry operations is a plus but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
