Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food delivery and customer satisfaction
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably within the restaurant or food industry
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Solid time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
