KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Construction of modified standard moulds without supervision
- Builds custom moulds with direct supervision
- Construction of old with complex angles and ability to perform them
- Building mould parts including wood, foam, and other composite materials
- Develops and maintains production standards
- Utilization of lumber and material efficiently
- Use of all woodworking tools & capable of using all Wood Shop tools and equipment safely
- Maintains accurate record keeping for all Wood Shop processes
- Additional duties as assigned
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to safely lift 50lbs
- Confined Space & Fall Protection Certification
- Ability to safely operate required machinery, power tools and other Wood Shop equipment
- Demonstrated ability to fabricate from drawings to finished product
- Demonstrated ability to make structures & molds from drawings to finished product
- Ability to read drawings
- Possess basic math skills
