Job Title: Construction Worker / Carpenter Assistant

Job Summary:
Golden Touch Construction is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Worker / Carpenter Assistant to support residential and commercial renovation projects. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of construction tasks including framing, drywall, finishing, flooring, and general labor. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with framing of walls, ceilings, and structural components
- Install drywall, including measuring, cutting, and fastening panels
- Perform mudding, taping, and sanding to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Support painting and finishing work, including priming and touch-ups
- Assist with installation of flooring (laminate, vinyl, hardwood, etc.)
- Help with exterior work such as siding, trim, and minor repairs
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
- Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians) as required
- Follow project plans, instructions, and safety procedures





Qualifications:

- Previous experience in construction or renovation is an asset
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, drywall, and general construction practices
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good teamwork and communication skills

Working Conditions:

- Work performed on residential and commercial construction sites
- Requires standing, lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions
- May involve working at heights (ladders/scaffolding)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
