Whitewater Internet is looking for an individual to join our team! We are looking for a Junior Technical Support Representative/Installation Technician.

No experience necessary. If you do not meet the requirements below but have a good attitude, work ethic and a willingness to learn, please feel free to apply. Training will be provided.

Job Requirements

- High school diploma or GED
- Valid G Class Driver’s License
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 150ft with associated fall protection gear (provided)
- Comfortable working with power tools (provided)
- Comfortable with some physical labour in all weather conditions
- Good with computer basics and technology in general
- Ability to complete any necessary training, at company expense
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures and installation guidelines
- Ability to identify and select appropriate equipment and hardware for site specific installations
- Willingness to regularly travel up to 50 km from Beachburg, ON, at company expense




- Willingness to work outside of regular business hours when necessary, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Willingness to be on-call as required (paid)
- Personable, reliable, efficient, with a good work ethic
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills (English mandatory, French an asset)
- Working at heights certification an asset but can be provided
- First aid course an asset but can be provided
- Experience with fall arrest gear an asset

Salary: $18-23 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time/Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week (more hours available in the spring and summer, less in the winter)

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay
