Tahini’s Kelowna is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Team Member to join our restaurant team.

This is a hands-on restaurant position involving taking customer orders at the POS, preparing food, completing prep work, and supporting back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Take customer orders accurately using the POS system
- Process cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Prepare customer orders according to Tahini’s standards
- Complete food preparation and ingredient prep
- Assist with back-kitchen duties and daily restaurant operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and restaurant
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and workstations as required
- Wash dishes and assist with cleaning duties when needed
- Work efficiently during busy periods and maintain a positive attitude
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team
- Perform other restaurant duties as required

Requirements





- Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset
- POS/cash-handling experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to stand and work for extended periods
- Must be able to safely lift and carry approximately 10–15 kg
- Must be willing to perform both front-of-house and back-of-house duties
- Food Safe certification is an asset
