Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the protected and effective use of medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in various clinical settings, including hospitals and acute care environments.

Duties

- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring accurate medication administration and adherence to prescribed therapies.
- Review and interpret medication orders, verifying accuracy and appropriateness based on patient-specific factors.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to promote safe and effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans for patients and those requiring acute care interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing,



inventory management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and optimizing medication management practices.

Experience

- A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- OCP licence is a must.
- Active pharmacist licensure in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in community pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of terminology and proficiency in medication administration processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
