Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Toast POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces
- Handle food safely following proper food handling procedures and safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation and serving snacks or light food items as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service




- Restock supplies and ensure all products are properly stored and labeled
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Smothies experience is a plus
- Solid customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and POS transactions
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Toast POS, is a plus
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
- Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
