Job Overview

Uniway Computers is a growing computer retail company with multiple locations in Calgary. We specialize in computer hardware, custom gaming PCs, and technical services.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Tech Support / Store Manager Assistant to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in IT support, retail operations, and business management.

No extensive experience is required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Tech Support

- Troubleshoot computers, laptops, and basic hardware issues
- Assist with system setup, software installation, and diagnostics
- Support basic network and connectivity issues

Store Operations Support

- Assist store manager with daily operations
- Help manage inventory and stock transfers
- Support ERP system updates and data accuracy

Sales Support

- Assist customers with product questions
- Recommend computer parts or systems based on needs




- Support in-store sales and upselling

Requirements

- Basic understanding of computers (hardware or software)
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Responsible, reliable, and team-oriented

Experience is not required. Attitude and learning ability are more important.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

- PC building or repair experience
- Retail or customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of computer parts (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc.)
- Interest in gaming PCs or technology

Compensation

- $18/hour base pay
- Sales commission (additional earning potential)
- Training provided
- Growth opportunity (potential to move into Store Manager or Operations role)

Schedule

- Full-time
- Weekend availability preferred
