Job Description: We are seeking a skilled furniture production specialist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, and upholstering high-quality sofas, loveseats, recliners, and other upholstered furniture products.
Job Duties:

Construct and assemble wooden frames for sofas, loveseats, recliners, and stationary/motion furniture
- Interpret technical drawings, production blueprints, and design specifications to fabricate finished furniture products
- Perform precision cutting, shaping, joining, and finishing of wood components
- Carry out upholstery work including leather and fabric covering, foam fitting, and trimming
- Troubleshoot production and assembly issues related to frames, upholstery, and mechanical components
- Operate and maintain woodworking and upholstery machinery used in furniture production
- Ensure product quality meets company and customer standards throughout all production stages
- Train and guide current employees in furniture production techniques and assembly processes
- Support production workflow including both assembly line and custom hand-built furniture production
- Collaborate with design and production teams to improve efficiency and product quality
- Maintain workplace safety and proper handling of tools and materials
Requirements:

8-10 years experience in furniture manufacturing, upholstery, or woodworking
- Experience with sofa, chair, or recliner production preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and production specifications
- Skilled in both woodworking and upholstery techniques
- Experience operating industrial woodworking and upholstery machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to train junior workers is an asset
Languages: English is required, Mandarin is an asset.
Education: Completion of secondary school is an asset.
