Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Location: Hamilton, ON ( In Person )
Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible Hours) 20-25 hours per week

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial records. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in handling business finances with accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Track expenses, invoices, and payments
- Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
- Assist with payroll processing (if applicable)
- Work with accountants for tax filings and year-end reporting
- Monitor cash flow and flag any discrepancies or concerns

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks,



Bright HR, Blip, or similar)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Discretion and confidentiality with financial information
- Must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the finance team

Must Have:

- Experience working with small businesses or clinics
- Familiarity with Canadian tax regulations and HST
- Payroll experience
