CPA Accounting Office Seeking F/T Staff Accountant.

NOTE: This is an "in-office" position ONLY. Hybrid or remote positions will not be considered at this time.

We are a small but growing accounting office located south side seeking to hire a full-time Staff Accountant.

The right candidate for this position is professional, dedicated, team player, a good communicator, detail oriented, and not afraid to ask questions and or seek assistance when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Self-Motivated Capable of independent thought and self-direction, able to work with little supervision

Solid time-management and multi-tasking skills, ability to process files in a time efficient manner with little or no supervision

Quick learner and eager attitude to expand knowledge

Conscientious of deadlines, ability to work under pressure, flexibility to accommodate when required

Computer proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook.

QuickBooks Desktop and Online experience is a MUST

Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented

Discretion when dealing with confidential information

Previous administrative work related experience is a MUST

Strong spoken and written communication is a MUST

Previous full cycle bookkeeping and payroll experience is a MUST

Previous accounting practice experience preferred, but not a must





Access to own vehicle (for periodic travel to outside clients)

Must be willing and available to work overtime hours during tax season and busy periods. In addition, you may be asked to work the occasional weekend, should work demands present itself.

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. This is a detail-oriented industry, following instructions is imperative.
