Client Care Receptionist (24-Hour Emergency & General Practice Hospital)

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and highly motivated Client Care Receptionist to join our team at a fast-paced, 24-hour emergency and general practice hospital. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service during both routine visits and urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing a warm, professional, and empathetic experience
- Manage a high volume of phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with efficiency and accuracy
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow for both general practice and emergency cases
- Triage incoming calls and communicate urgent concerns to the medical team promptly
- Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate client records
- Support the veterinary/medical team with administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or client care role (experience in a medical or veterinary setting is an asset)




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
